HealthLine Systems announced today that the company will be moving it’s EchoASP hosted services to a new state-of-the-art off site location during the first quarter of 2009.

February 5, 2009, San Diego, CA— HealthLine Systems announced today that the company will be moving it’s EchoASP hosted services to a new state-of-the-art off site location during the first quarter of 2009.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer our clients a secure, high speed environment to meet their growing and changing needs,” said Dan Littrell, HealthLine CEO. “This new facility demonstrates our commitment to support our client organizations with the most advanced technology available.”
Among the improvements are a secure facility that is staffed 24/7 with backup capabilities that provides weeks worth of emergency power. The facility provides significant advantages in internet peering with multiple internet providers to improve bandwidth performance while ensuring there are redundant carriers to reduce potential failure.
Coinciding with the move is an upgrade to the latest enterprise class Hewlett Packard C class Blade Systems for the database and application servers. The new servers provide a fully redundant infrastructure; Storage Area Network based storage; and updated networking equipment.
The previous ASP hosting site will remain in tact and serve as a hot backup to provide geographic redundancy between facilities.
