Robert Jaeger appointed to HealthLine Systems’ Client Advisory Panel
San Diego, California, February 16, 2005— HealthLine Systems, Inc. announces the appointment of Mr. Robert Jaeger of SSM Healthcare to its contact center solutions Client Advisory Panel. The advisory panel strengthens the voice of the customer with insight on market trends, migrating client needs, emerging contact center opportunities, and examples of documented results to raise the standard of practice for the healthcare industry.
A pharmacist by profession, Mr. Jaeger is the Director of SSM’s Health & Wellness Line at SSM Healthcare – St. Louis. SSM Health Care was honored as a recipient of the 2004 Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. SSM Health Care's call center handles after-hours triage for 50 pediatricians in six area hospitals (and growing) and manages help-line calls for the St. Louis County Department of Health. His call center is also the Network’s access point for physician referral and class registration. Jaeger pioneered the development of one of the early virtual healthcare call centers in the United States. Some call center experts contend that employees aren’t easily migrated to home offices. Jaeger disagrees: "Nearly every nurse is outperforming what she did in the office. While there are significant challenges to teleworking, the benefits outweigh the risks.”
